Will the NHL have a season?

It is getting to the end of November and an end to the strike is nowhere in site. the NHL and the NHLPA don't seem to making any headway in negotiations. Once again, the NHL is asking for a new proposal. In the meantime, the trickle down effect of the strike is effecting thousands of people from the arena employees, to vendors, the concession stands,the hobby shops that sell the cards, and especially the fans who love the sport. Hopefully they will continue to meet and not take any more breaks until this is resolved and hockey is back!

2012 Bowman Chrome BB Wrapper Redemption Program

Here Comes Another Blue Wave! The hottest redemption program is back! Collectors who send in 36 Bowman Chrome Baseball (Hobby or Retail; mixing is allowed) wrappers will receive a FREE 5-card cello pack of Exclusive Blue Wave Refractor parallel cards. There are 110 subjects to collect in all. In addition, bonus autographed cards have been randomly inserted into packs, featuring hot prospects such as Jorge Soler, Billy Hamilton, Ronald Guzman and Tyler Austin…just to name a few. The exclusive wrapper redemption program will be limited to ONLY 10,000 cello packs, so in order to receive your packs, send in your wrappers quickly! Topps announces that the card redeemable for the 2012 Topps Finest Baseball Autograph Rookie Redemption # 3 is superstar rookie Mike Trout. Anyone watching baseball this year knows that Trout’s season could be the best ever for a first-year player. The 21-year old is hitting .340 and has 22 home runs in 95 games. In addition, he brings another element to the game with his speed as he has 38 steals. Most people will agree that Trout’s ceiling is limitless.
